Based on the Chemin des Vignerons in Blonay, Jeunesse & Musique offers a complete path: musical initiation, instrument tuition, group playing and the chance to play in a large ensemble. Its aim is to give children and young people living in the canton of Vaud a quality education on favourable terms, driven first by the pleasure of learning and the will to progress. The school rests on its teachers and its committee; its resources come from fees, subsidies from the canton of Vaud and the communes of Blonay and Saint-Légier-La Chiésaz, support from the Société de Musique and donations from companies and individuals. Parents have an important part to play and can encourage their child by taking part in the life of the school; the committee gladly welcomes new members.
